According to the report, the match will take place on June 9 in Bordeaux at the Stade Matmut Atlantique – just 3 days after Canada's clash against the Netherlands.
Canada Soccer Chief Communications & Content Officer Paulo Senra confirmed that they are “actively in conversations with the French Football Federation” for the men’s national team to play against France. Canada Soccer is “working diligently to get those details finalized.”
Should Les Rouges face Les Bleus, Canada would have a packed June with 5 matches, including the 3 Copa América group stage games against Argentina, Peru and Chile.

France, the 2022 World Cup runner-ups, will be a fantastic test for Canada, who have a very tough group at the Copa América, including World Cup champions Argentina.
After the tournament, Canada is set to play Mexico in September, with another friendly against the United States rumoured to be happening later this year.
