Another major blow to the defence.

Wednesday's media availability with goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair and defender Richie Laryea was cancelled as a result, and head coach Jesse Marsch has yet to comment.
With defender Alfie Jones dropping out of the squad after suffering an injury with Middlesbrough FC and midfielder Jeevan Badwal withdrawing from the squad due to a minor knock, injuries continue to be a story with the CANMNT, with the defence suffering the most. Moïse Bombito and Alistair Johnston both missed this international window.
Will Cornelius be replaced? Likely not for the Chile game, but likely for the two matches against Peru and the United States.
