The final day of the MLS Regular Season is here, with CF Montréal hosting the Vancouver Whitecaps at Stade Saputo in an intriguing matchup.
Here's everything you need to know heading into the game!
How CF Montréal enters this match
It's a meaningless game for the Québec-based side; Philippe Eullaffroy's team is confirmed to finish at the bottom of the MLS Eastern Conference standings, with likely no Concacaf Champions Cup action after losing the Canadian Championship final to Forge FC on penalties.
Their most recent MLS game wasn't bad: a late Daniel Ríos strike secured a 1-1 draw against New York City FC, which eliminated the American side from playoff contention.
Montréal are playing only for pride, looking to close out another disastrous campaign on a positive note.
How the Vancouver Whitecaps enter this match
Good times for the British Columbia-based side: Jesper Sørensen's side are confirmed to finish at the top of the MLS Western Conference standings, while a win or tie would confirm hosting priorities throughout the MLS Cup Playoffs unless they face Nashville SC in the MLS Cup Final.
Vancouver were too good in their recent fixture on Sunday: they dismantled the Seattle Sounders 5-1 after Brian White scored twice, following goals from Ryan Gauld, Mathías Laborda, and Aleksa Cvetković.
The Whitecaps are playing for seeding, but they must be careful with squad selection due to injuries being a big factor in why Vancouver really couldn't hit top gear more times this year, so it will be interesting to see if Sørensen goes all out before the international break or will he be cautious and risk falling below the New England Revolution in the standings.
Head-to-head
The two sides met in September across two matches, with CF Montréal shocking the Whitecaps with a 3-2 aggregate win in the Canadian Championship semifinals and qualifying to the final.
Montréal hold the all-time series lead with a 34-19-29 record against Vancouver across all competitions, but Vancouver will be looking to close the gap and is favoured to do so.

Availability
For Montréal, Thomas Gillier, Bode Hidalgo, Jalen Neal, Prince Owusu, and Dante Sealy are unavailable due to injury, while defender Viktor Radojević is serving a one-match ban for yellow-card accumulation.
For Vancouver, Kenji Cabrera, Andrés Cubas, and Emmanuel Sabbi will remain unavailable due to injury, while Jeevan Badwal and Rayan Elloumi return from injury and suspension, respectively.
Belal Halbouni has now taken a leave from the sport after being diagnosed with hodgkin's lymphoma and will be unavailable for an indefinite period. TrueNorthFoot sends its best wishes and support to him and his loved ones.
