Beni Badibanga has claimed he terminated his contract with Forge FC for "just cause." Responding to a club post on Instagram listing him as one of the players under contract, the Belgian forward commented that the information was incorrect, asserting he had already ended his deal with the team.
"This post is not correct since I terminated my contract with Forge for just cause on 6th January." the talented dribbler under the Hammers' post commented.
Forge has told TrueNorthFoot that Badibanga – who hasn't traveled to Mexico for pre-season training with the club – is currently under contract with the Hammers.
Forge's off-season has already been very eventful, signing reigning Players' Player of the Year winner Brian Wright, as well as being rumoured to sign Mo Babouli and Dan Nimick.
There is also another ongoing conversation going with loanee Daniel Parra, whose 2025 club option was triggered by Forge despite the Mexican being heavily rumoured to join Liga MX' Atlas in a transfer from parent club Monterrey.
