There are a few interesting names on the list.
The biggest talking point is Daniel Jebbinson, who, according to Joshua Kloke, has committed to playing for Les Rouges.
The 23-year-old Oakville native has often been included in Canada's preliminary squads but never made the final cut. This time, that looks set to change.
Another standout from the announcement is 16-year-old Shola Jimoh, the only Canadian Premier League player on the list.
After a breakout season with York United in late 2024, he earned a call-up to Canada’s youth national teams before training with the senior squad. Now, he has a chance to make his first-team debut.
Kwasi Poku, ex-Forge now starring for RWD Molenbeek in Belgium, is included on the list despite being sidelined for the rest of the European season due to injury.
Meanwhile, Promise David—the player who recently made headlines in Canada—is also on the list, with expectations that he'll make the final roster.
