Sudbury Cyclones and The Borough will join the League1 Ontario Men’s Championship for the 2025 season, growing the second-tier division to 12 teams.
The two clubs will replace division finalists Vaughan Azzurri B and Alliance United B, who had originally earned promotion to the second division but opted to stay in the third.
Both the 1st and 2nd tiers will now have 12 teams, with the formats for the 2025 season yet to be revealed.
Pickering FC will retain its spot in the Championship, as Scrosoppi FC B also opted to stay in the 3rd tier.
