At long last, Quebec finally has a team in the Canadian Premier League.
Meet FC Supra du Québec, the league's ninth club and third-ever expansion side.
The announcement came Wednesday night in front of a packed crowd at Complexe Multi-Sports de Laval, just steps away from Stade Boréale—the venue where the team will play its home matches.

What's the branding about?
The new club’s identity draws inspiration from the past, taking its name from the old Montréal Supra, who played in the original Canadian Soccer League from 1988 to 1992 before folding—the same year CF Montréal was founded by the Saputo family.
The colours follow the same path, blending Canadian red with Quebecois blue in tribute to the original Supra.
Home matches will be played at Stade Boréale, a 5,581-seat soccer-specific venue about 40 minutes from downtown Montréal. The stadium, also home to the Montreal Roses of the Northern Super League, is leased to Supra. Club president Rocco Placentino emphasized during Wednesday’s announcement that without the Roses and their stadium, the project would not have been possible.
This marks the first time in Canadian soccer history that a stadium originally built for women’s soccer will later serve as the home ground for a men’s professional team.
