Canada opens its tournament on Friday, June 12 (3:00 pm ET / 12:00 pm PT) against Bosnia and Herzegovina at Toronto Stadium, more commonly known as BMO Field.



















Moïse Bombito
The defender is having some difficulties with his past injury and will not feature in Canada's opener; it remains to be seen whether he'll feature at all in this World Cup at all. Kristian Jack of OneSoccer says he'll remain on the roster.
Ismaël Koné (fever)
The 23-year-old midfielder left training on Wednesday with a fever, according to Kristian Jack of OneSoccer, and his status for Friday's affair is unconfirmed.
Jacob Shaffelburg & Ali Ahmed
Both recently returned to full training.
Alphonso Davies
Phonzy is unlikely to feature in Canada's opener for precautionary reasons.
