It's a big one in the nation's capital.
Atlético Ottawa take on Inter Toronto in what feels like a must-win clash for both sides.
Friday's hosts are coming off two disappointing defeats, conceding three goals in each, slowly drifting away from the league's leaders and making their Canadian Championship task feel close to impossible.
Inter Toronto, on the other hand, are in the midst of a five-game winless streak, with the last four producing humiliating defeats of 3-1, 4-1, 5-1, and 4-0 at the hands of Supra, Forge, Cavalry, and Vancouver FC, respectively.
The alarm bells are ringing, and should this form continue, the Nine Stripes risk losing ground in the race for the remaining playoff spots.
With Forge and Cavalry pulling clear at the top, it is fair to say only two playoff spots are realistically up for grabs among the other six sides.
How Atlético Ottawa come into the match
Similar to Inter Toronto, Atlético Ottawa are in a poor run of form, having lost four of their last six matches. Their most recent defeat came in the Canadian Championship, where FC Supra secured a 3-1 victory in the first leg.
Before the imminent announcement of new club manager Gustavo Leal, Drew Beckie will look to end his interim head coaching stint by securing all three points. Similar to Mauro Eustaquio, he will also look to inject energy and passion into his team before kickoff.
Making the most of their chances and relying on clinical finishing from key players such as Tabla and Aparicio in the final third will be crucial for Atlético Ottawa if they want to secure all three points.
How Inter Toronto come into the match
The Nine Stripes enter Friday's clash having secured just one point in their last five matches, with the last four all ending in defeats. Mauro Eustaquio and his staff will look to reinvigorate their squad and instill belief that they can return to the playoff picture.
The return of Ollie Bassett, the 2022 Player of the Year and Players' Player of the Year, will certainly help their case, as Inter Toronto have scored just three goals while conceding 16 during their losing streak. A player of Bassett's quality is surely capable of improving those numbers as the season progresses.
As long as Inter Toronto can address their defensive issues, they are a team that could sneak into the fourth and final playoff spot.
Last time out
The last time these two teams met, Inter Toronto dominated en route to a 4-1 victory. Wesley Timoteo scored for Ottawa, while Julian Altobelli, a Loïc Cloutier own goal, and Tomáš Skublak, who recorded a brace in the matchup, provided the goals for Inter Toronto.
