Leagues Cup releases schedule for 3 Canadian MLS teams
BY TRUENORTHFOOT PUBLISHED ON MARCH 14, 2024

Leagues Cup has officially unveiled the schedule for the 2024 group stage.

All 3 Canadian MLS clubs will participate in it. It will take place between July 26 and August 25. The three highest-placing teams will qualify for the 2025 CONCACAF Champions Cup.

Let's take a look at the 3 clubs' dates, times & locations for the 2 group stage matches.

CF Montréal

July 26, 8:00pm ET vs. Orlando City (away)
The Impact will face fellow Eastern Conference side Orlando City at the Inter&CO Stadium this summer. The 2 teams met in the first match-day of this MLS season, with the game ending in a 0-0 draw.

July 30, 7:00pm ET vs. Atlético San Luis (home)
Just 4 days later, the Bleu-blanc-noir will host LigaMX side Atlético San Luis at Stade Saputo to close out the group stage.

Toronto FC

July 27, 8:00pm ET, vs. New York Red Bulls (away)
The Reds will get their 2024 Leagues Cup campaign underway in the States as they face the New York Red Bulls in New Jersey.

August 4, 8:00pm ET, vs. C.F. Pachuca (home)
Toronto FC will host LigaMX side and 5-time Champions Cup winners C.F. Pachuca at BMO Field in the last group stage match-day.

Vancouver Whitecaps

July 30, 7:30pm PT, vs. LAFC (away)
The Vancouver Whitecaps will visit LAFC in a re-match of the 2023 MLS play-offs, where the American side came out victorious after a controversial ending.

August 3, 7:00pm PT, vs. Club Tijuana (home)
The 'Caps 2nd and last match of the Leagues Cup group stage will see them host Mexican side Club Tijuana.

The furthest a Canadian team has ever gotten to in the Leagues Cup was last year, when the Whitecaps were knocked out in the Round of 32, just 3 games into the tournament. With the great start from the Canadian MLS teams this season (5 wins, 3 draws and no losses), expectations will be higher.
