BY TRUENORTHFOOT PUBLISHED ON JANUARY 6, 2025

Forge FC has started their training ahead of the 2025 season, preparing for the upcoming Concacaf Champions Cup clash against Mexican giants C.F. Monterrey.

Players reported to Hamilton on January 4 and conducted medicals the following day.

On January 6, the team kicked off their pre-season training at Redeemer University in the city.

The squad will depart for Cancun, Mexico, on January 15 for a two-week stay, where they’ll play friendlies against local clubs. 2025 marks the second consecutive year the team has traveled to Cancun for their pre-season preparations.

Forge will return to Hamilton in late January to prepare for their home match in the Concacaf Champions Cup against Monterrey on February 5. They’ll then travel to Mexico three days later for the second leg on the 11th.

Also announced in the press release is that the 2025 Canadian Premier League schedule "will be announced soon".
