Atlético Ottawa triggers Amer Didic's 2025 option
BY TRUENORTHFOOT PUBLISHED ON DECEMBER 30, 2024

Atlético Ottawa announced they have exercised defender Amer Didic's contract option for the 2025 season.

An optional year was included in Didic's initial agreement with Atlético and has been exercised by the club.

The 29-year-old defender has long been one of the best in his position throughout the league, being nominated for the Defender of the Year award in 2022.

He joined Ottléti at the beginning of the 2024 season after a failed move to Norway's Odds BK.

A beast in the air, Didic scored four headed goals in 2024, also providing one assist to complement his great defensive performances.

The Bosnia-born previously played for fellow CPL sides Pacific FC and FC Edmonton, where his displays were nothing short of fantastic.
