UPDATE ON MARCH 13, 2024: The deal has fallen through.

Sources: Amer Didic is heading to Norway's top-flight league; The Eliteserien.

The 29-year-old centre-back departed Pacific FC following the 2023 season and is now Europe bound. He appeared in 63 games for Pacific, scoring 6 goals and providing two assists.

Up until this week, three CPL clubs made strong attempts to secure his signing: Forge FC & Atlético Ottawa put up big offers, while the HFX Wanderers were also one of the clubs interested.

The six-foot-four defender will join the list of CPL graduates now playing in Europe, such as Aribim Pepple, who is playing for Inverness CT after a great spell with the Cavs, Victor Loturi, who has been at Ross County for almost 2 years, also joining from Cavalry, and Marco Bustos, ex-Pacific & Valour player who's now part of Swedish first-tier side Varnamo.

The signing is set to be finalized in the coming days.
