The Canadian-Algerian made just 11 appearances for Ottawa after joining them in January this year, mostly staying as a substitute for Nathan Ingham.
Nominated for the Canadian Premier League's Golden Glove award in 2023, it makes sense that a goalkeeper with such quality would prefer to start more games, and with Ingham under contract with Ottléti until the end of the 2025 season, it's looking like he'll be getting more time out East.
The Halifax Wanderers announced the departure of their main goalkeeper, Yann Fillion, this off-season, and they'd have been looking for a starting #1.
Should this rumour be true, Yesli will join fellow goalkeeper Aiden Rushenas.
The Wanderers have already announced a signing for next year, securing defender Thomas Meilleur-Giguère in another intra-league move, previously with Pacific.
With this rumoured addition, Halifax is off to a strong start in the off-season.
