It looks like Daniel Parra will not be back at Tim Hortons Field next year.
The 2024 Canadian Premier League off-season has been well underway for a good month or two now, and various clubs have been announcing roster updates.
When Forge FC announced its squad changes, Mexican fullback Daniel Parra was listed as having an option to extend his stay for the 2025 season. With him being a key player in the team's road to the CPL Shield, it was highly expected that the Hammers would trigger his option for next year, but it looks like that won't happen, and it's not a club decision.
Fernando Esquivel 365Scores México reports that the 25-year-old is very close to joining Liga MX outfit Atlas.
The Mexican side has been looking for a left-back after the departure of 'Hueso' Reyes.

With Forge, Parra recorded 29 appearances in all competitions, becoming a key part of Bobby's CPL Shield-winning squad. He started the first game of the season and the spot instantly became his.
Should the rumour be real, it'll be interesting to see how he's replaced. Forge is reportedly in talks with Costa Rican fullback Keysher Fuller, though his main position is on the right side, while Parra's is on the left.
