Ottawa and Cavalry played to a 2-2 draw at TD Place, splitting the points.

The Cavs started the match stronger, creating the first meaningful chances.

In the 23rd minute, Tobias Warchewski delivered a perfect through ball to Mihail Gherasimencov, who chipped it across the box, allowing Musse to push the ball over the line and give Cavalry a 1-0 lead.

Ottawa responded with a free-kick from Manny Aparicio, which was well saved by Marco Carducci, marking their first real chance of the game.

Just 12 minutes later, Musse scored from a free-kick which deflected off the Ottawa wall and found the net past Nathan Ingham, doubling Cavalry’s advantage.

In the second half, Cavalry had a golden chance to seal the game, but a miscommunication in the box saw Warchewski block what would have been a Sergio Camargo goal.

In the 69th minute, Manny Aparicio unleashed a thunderous strike that was saved by Carducci, but Sam Salter pounced on the rebound to halve the deficit and give Ottawa new life.

Momentum fully shifted to Ottawa, and three minutes later, David Rodríguez found space in the box, converting a shot past Marco Carducci to level the game at 2-2.

The home side kept pressing but couldn’t find a winner. Just before injury time, Fraser Aird delivered a perfect cross that Cannigia Elva headed on target, only for Nathan Ingham to make the save before the ball hit the crossbar.

While Ottawa staged a comeback from 2-0 down and Cavalry secured a point on the road, the result doesn’t favour either team: Ottléti fell further from first place, now six points behind Forge, while Cavalry couldn't establish a bigger gap in third, just one point above Halifax.

Up next for Ottawa is a clash at home against Vancouver FC, while the Cavs will face undefeated Forge at Spruce Meadows.
