Vancouver Whitecaps
It wasn't a good week in terms of results.
The Vancouver Whitecaps didn't get the results expected, following a 1-1 draw against CF Montréal in the first leg of the Canadian Championship semifinals and a 3-1 loss to St. Louis City SC in MLS play.
During that St. Louis game on Saturday, an early strike from Emmanuel Sabbi eventually meant nothing after three unanswered first-half goals from Simon Becher, Tomas Totland and Conrad Wallem.
The second half could be seen as lacklustre; the 'Caps didn't really create a major chance during those 45 minutes despite having both Thomas Müller and Ryan Gauld on the field.
It didn't prove to be costly for Jesper Sørensen's side: the Whitecaps remain at the top of the MLS Western Conference standings.
As the MLS Secondary Transfer window closed, the Whitecaps finished up some business. After acquiring defender Rui Modesto and forward Yadaly Diaby, they loaned out Liam Mackenzie to Canadian Premier League side Halifax Wanderers before mutually parting ways with midfielder J.C. Ngando after he cleared MLS waivers.
This week, they will have another double gameweek. They take on the LA Galaxy tonight at BC Place Stadium at 7:30 pm PT before hosting Austin FC on Sunday at 3:30 pm PT / 5:30 pm CT.
Vancouver FC
What a comeback from the Eagles!
It was a wonderful Sunday for Vancouver FC; they came back from two goals down to defeat FC Supra in a thrilling 3-2 win at home.
It was a crucial win for Martin Nash's side, given that it was their first win in four games, with the last three ending in defeat.
In terms of the standings, Vancouver FC remain in fourth place, but now hold an eight-point lead over fifth-placed FC Supra, who still have a game in hand.
Up next is an away day at York Lions Stadium, when they take on Inter Toronto on Sunday, with kickoff set for 12:00 pm PT / 3:00 pm ET.
Vancouver Rise
One of the cruellest ways to lose a game.
The Vancouver Rise couldn't extend their good run of three games undefeated after a stunning half-way goal from Julia Benati handed the Halifax Tides a 1-0 win at Swangard Stadium.
It was an annoying loss for several reasons. The Rise now sit a point away from the Tides in the race for the final playoff spot.
That wasn't the only thing that happened this week, as head coach Anja Heiner-Møller was relieved of her duties as head coach on Monday.
For now, focus shifts to Sunday, when the Rise take on the Ottawa Rapid at Swangard Stadium, with kickoff set for 1:00 pm PT / 4:00 pm ET.
Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2
Despite being eliminated from playoff contention, WFC2 is hitting some good form!
WFC2 took on Portland Timbers 2 at Providence Park, and after a 0-0 result in regulation time, Sam Rogers produced two penalty saves to grab a 4-3 shootout win.
For Rich Fagan's side, they are now unbeaten in three straight games with two more matches left in the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season.
They will now play their final away game of the season on Saturday, when they will face Minnesota United FC 2 at the National Sports Center Stadium in Blaine, Minnesota. Kickoff is set for 5:00 pm PT / 7:00 pm CT.
