In 2024, he made 31 appearances for Atlético Ottawa and provided three assists.

GAIS is one of Sweden’s most historic clubs, recognized as a founding member and the inaugural winner of the Allsvenskan, the country’s top-tier football league. In 2024, they finished 6th from 16.

Magnus Sköldmark, GAIS' technical director, said that de Brienne has shown qualities that "we believe both immediately, but also over time, will add strength to the squad".

The 22-year-old also said the following on his arrival when asked what kind of player fans can expect: "A tireless and energetic player, who does everything to help the team all over the pitch."
