After a tight 2-1 Cavalry win last week, Cavalry and Supra meet once again, this time with Stade Boréale as the backdrop. The two sides have met twice thus far in 2026, with both decisions going Cavalry's way by single-goal margins. Saturday evening's bout is sure to be filled with fireworks, as hostilities between the two sides came to a head late in their previous outing. Expected rain in the region could pose challenges for either side, but regardless of what the weather brings, both squads will come in believing they can cash in on three points.
After their last meeting with Cavalry, Supra travelled further west to take on Pacific. A resilient Supra squad were able to take home the win despite the short rest, although a pair of red cards shown to key Pacific players undoubtedly aided their success. Loïc Kwemi cashed in on a penalty kick near the end of the first half, and Safwane Mlah found the winning goal after Supra's offence wore down a depleted Trident back line. The Quebec side are still well within playoff contention, sitting four points back of fourth-place Atlético Ottawa with one fewer match played.
Cavalry remained at home after these sides last met and proceeded to dismantle Inter Toronto by a score of 5-0. All five goals came from different scorers, as Cavalry have now seen goals from 13 different players, good enough for second in the CPL. Cavalry also have eight different multi-goal scorers throughout CPL play, leading the league in that category. The Cavs sit second in the CPL table with 33 points, 10 points clear of third-place Vancouver FC, and are once again within striking distance of league-leading Forge.
Availability
Although generally healthy, Supra have been without Riad Bey and Thomas Lebeuf for multiple weeks. No update has been given on either player's status heading into the match.
Cavalry have been without Bradley Kamdem Fewo, Michael Baldisimo, and Goteh Ntignee for several matches. The match fitness of Kamdem Fewo and Ntignee remains in question, while Baldisimo is unlikely to return immediately due to the back-to-back nature of his leg injuries.
