The Vancouver Whitecaps will face Pumas UNAM of Liga MX in the 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup quarterfinals.
The Mexican side secured their spot in the round after defeating Costa Rican giants Alajuelense 3-1 on aggregate.
Vancouver knocked Monterrey out on away goals after a 3-3 aggregate draw, making history and eliminating a Mexican side from the competition for the first time in club history.
The first leg will take place at BC Place on Wednesday, April 2, at 6:30 pm PT, with the return match set for Wednesday, April 9, at 7:30 pm PT at Estadio Olímpico Universitario.

This game will be special for Pumas head coach Efraín Juárez, who made 17 appearances for the Whitecaps in 2018, tallying one assist.
The Mexican side is 11th from 18 in Liga MX, just outside the last playoff spot.
They have four wins, two draws, and five losses in league action.

On the other side of the series is LAFC vs. Miami, with the winner moving on to face either the Whitecaps or Pumas.
