After two seasons in Hamilton, which included a Golden Glove-winning campaign in 2025, Jassem Koleilat has left Forge.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper joins Birmingham Legion of the USL — the second tier of the U.S. soccer pyramid.

Koleilat signed with the Hammers in 2024, taking over the starting spot from Christopher Kalongo, who also recently left the club to join TFC 2.

He made his club debut in May 2024 against Pacific, keeping a clean sheet in a scoreless draw.

In his first season, he helped Forge win the CPL Shield, recording eight clean sheets in 17 league matches.

His second season was even better — once again helping his side claim the CPL Shield before winning the Golden Glove award with 13 clean sheets in 29 matches, a league record.

Forge has found its replacement, signing DR Congo international Dimitry Bertaud to a multi-year contract. The goalkeeper made an impressive debut during the week, producing seven saves to keep a clean sheet in the Champions Cup clash against Tigres.
