FC Supra will play their first match at Stade Boréale on Sunday, hosting Cavalry. After two home matches at CEPSUM Stadium, Supra now shift to Laval for the next phase of their schedule, welcoming the Cavs for the first time.
With both sides currently in playoff positions early in the season, securing all three points will be the priority, especially with a week-long break in CPL action looming and leaders Forge having grabbed another three points in Nova Scotia.
How FC Supra come into the match
The Quebec side has a 2-0-1 record heading into Sunday's clash, with wins over Pacific and the Halifax Wanderers. Their attack has been one of the early surprises of the season, leading the CPL in both shots per match (15) and shots on target per match (8).
Finishing has also come by committee, with all five of Supra’s goals scored by different players, highlighting a balanced and unpredictable attacking unit.
How Cavalry come into the match
The Cavs enter Sunday’s clash unbeaten in April with a 2-2-0 record, following back-to-back draws against Forge and Inter Toronto. After a strong attacking start, their offence has cooled slightly, though difficult weather conditions last time out likely played a role.
In his first full season back in the CPL, Daan Klomp has quickly returned to his 2024 MVP level. The Dutch defender has already contributed two goals while remaining a cornerstone of Cavalry’s defensive structure.
Availability
FC Supra will be without defender Ismael Yeo, who suffered an ACL injury last week and will miss the remainder of the season. Loïc Kwemi, who missed the last game against Halifax, is day-to-day.
On Cavalry's side, Amer Didic was sidelined last week, and there has been no update yet on his availability for Sunday. Didic missed most of last season with a leg injury, leading to some uncertainty over whether his absence was due to a new issue or simply maintenance-related.
