Cavalry and Supra resume their CPL campaigns with a Sunday evening match in Foothills County.

The two sides' only previous meeting ended in a 1-0 victory for the Cavs, highlighted by a pair of controversial penalty decisions: one awarded to Cavalry that ultimately produced the winner, and another overturned for Supra that denied the visitors a chance to draw level. Supra's frustration boiled over, resulting in seven bookings, six yellow cards and one red, setting the stage for this heated rematch.

How Cavalry come into the match

Cavalry come out of the break with seven wins, two draws, and one loss, good for second place in the CPL table. Most recently, the Cavs rolled to a 5-1 road win over Inter Toronto and will look to carry that momentum into the second phase of the season. Earlier in the week, the club announced a contract extension through 2028 for captain Sergio Camargo. The 31-year-old has two goals and one assist through 10 starts this season and is averaging just over 80 minutes per match.

How FC Supra come into the match

Supra sit sixth in the CPL table with a 3-2-4 record, but have played one fewer match than some of their playoff rivals and could climb as high as third with three points on Sunday. Supra's inaugural season has so far been characterized by closely contested defensive matches, with 13 goals scored and 14 conceded through nine games. Their -1 goal differential ranks third-best in the league, suggesting a playoff appearance in their debut season is well within reach.
