The Vancouver Rise are back home after a three-game road trip, as they host the Halifax Tides in their final away game before returning home.

After a disappointing 5-1 loss to the Montréal Roses, the Rise bounced back with a 4-2 win over the Calgary Wild, and recently secured a 3-0 win over AFC Toronto.

Currently holding the fourth and final playoff spot, the Vancouver Rise will now look to create a gap from the Tides and secure a spot in the 2026 Northern Super League Playoffs.

How the Halifax Tides enter this game

Katie Barrott's side will feel this game is a must-win, given their situation.

The Halifax Tides have lost their last three games, with the latest loss coming against the Ottawa Rapid at TD Place, falling by a narrow 2-1 scoreline.

Sitting two points behind the Rise, Halifax will need to secure a win away from home, as the Rise could go five points clear, as AFC Toronto are four points clear with a game in hand.

The last meeting between these two sides happened in the middle of June, as a late Julianne Vallerand goal secured a 1-1 draw for the Halifax Tides to cancel out an opener from Anaïs Oularbi.

Halifax's defender, who has turned goalscorer on several occasions this season, 24-year-old Canadian Julliane Vallerand is enjoying a great second full season in professional football, having recorded four goals this year while primarily being used as a right back. She's scored some terrific goals as well, with the highlight goal coming against the Calgary Wild to secure a brace. She was the hero in the last game between these two sides, so can she run it back and help the Tides secure a historic first win against the Rise?

For Vancouver, Jessika Cowart, Shannon Woeller, and Ariel Young will all miss the game due to injury. At the same time, Latifah Abdu, Kennedy Faulknor, and Audrey François are in doubt for tomorrow's game.

For Halifax, Megumi Nakamura and Saorla Miller will miss out due to injury, while Rylee Foster Inman is listed as unavailable.
