Forge defeated CF Montréal on penalties in Wednesday night's Canadian Championship final, becoming the first CPL club to win the competition.
The Hammers aren't strangers to trophies, though: It's their 8th piece of silverware in eight seasons, winning at least one each year.

2026 Canadian Championship
It was the one trophy missing for Bobby Smyrniotis' Forge.
They finally got it done on Wednesday away to Montréal. Antoine Batisse opened the scoring for the Hammers at the death of the first half, on their first real chance. Montréal tied it in the 48th minute through Daniel Ríos, but minutes later, defender Brayan Vera received a second yellow for simulation, giving Forge space to breathe.
After 120 minutes, the Hammers prevailed on penalties thanks to a fantastic Dimitry Bertaud, who saved two penalties and another during the game.
2025 CPL Shield
It went down to the last matchday, when Forge got the job done at home against a weak York United side.
2024 CPL Shield
Forge finished 1st more comfortably this year, defeating Valour 1-0 away from home to secure the CPL Shield with few matches left.
2023 Canadian Premier League champions
In arguably the 2nd-most memorable match in league history (nothing tops the final Ottawa won in the snow last year), Beni Badibanga and Tristan Borges scored two fantastic goals in extra time, the latter an Olimpico, to overcome a 1-0 deficit against rivals Cavalry.

2022 Canadian Premier League champions
Forge beat Ottawa 2-0 in the nation's capital in front of over 15,000 fans with goals from Alessandro Hojabrpour and David Choinière. It was their 3rd CPL title in the league's first four years.
2021 CPL Shield
Technically the only year and title in which they never lifted silverware: The CPL retroactively awarded the honour a year later, recognizing the regular-season winners with an official title (Also retroactively awarding it to Cavalry for finishing 1st in 2019).
Forge secured 1st after a 3-1 win over York United in Toronto.
2020 Canadian Premier League champions
An odd season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, formatted in three phases: the regular season (7 games), the group stage (3 games), and the final.
Forge beat Halifax 2-0, with goals from Alexander Achinioti-Jönsson and Maxime Tissot.
2019 Canadian Premier League champions
The title that made them forever first.
Forge beat rivals Cavalry 1-0 in both legs, 2-0 on aggregate, and lifted the North Star Shield for the first time in club history.
