Professional women’s footy has arrived in Canada, at last.

The Northern Super League announced the full 2025 regular season schedule this Thursday.

Without further ado, let’s get right into it.

Inaugural match set for April 16

The league’s first-ever match will be played on Wednesday, April 16 (7 pm PT / 8 pm MT) at BC Place, as the Vancouver Rise hosts Calgary Wild.

The home side will play all their other games at Swangard Stadium in Burnaby, roughly a 25-minute drive from Downtown Vancouver.

Toronto vs. Montreal at BMO Field

AFC Toronto will host Montreal Roses at BMO Field in the first-ever showdown between the two cities in professional women’s football.

The match will be played on Saturday, April 19 (4 pm ET), just 3 days after the league’s inaugural match. It will also be the only game of that weekend.

Halifax & Ottawa open their season

Halifax Tides and Ottawa Rapid play their first matches of the season at home.

The Nova Scotians face Calgary Wild at Wanderers Gronuds on Saturday, April 26 (6 pm AT / 3 pm MT), while Ottawa clashes with Toronto in the nation’s capital the following day (1 pm ET).

Montreal and Calgary home campaign begins in May

Both Montreal Roses and Calgary Wild will have their home openers in May – partly due to the harsh winter conditions –, on May 3rd and May 11th respectively.

Ottawa Rapid will make the 2-hour trip to Montreal and then visit Alberta the following week.

Final matchweek set for mid-October

The final week of the regular season kicks off in October. Halifax will face Ottawa on Wednesday, October 15 (6:30 pm AT / 5:30 pm ET), followed by Calgary hosting Vancouver on Thursday, October 16 (7 pm MT / 6:00 pm PT). The action wraps up with Toronto taking on Montreal on Saturday, October 18 (12 pm ET).
