The fourth week of Canadian Premier League action gets underway with a Friday night clash between FC Supra and the Halifax Wanderers at CEPSUM.

Both sides will be looking to put painful late goals behind them, with Supra having fallen to Atlético Ottawa via a 90+3 winner, while Halifax saw their home opener spoiled by Pacific, who equalized deep into eight minutes of added time.

How FC Supra come into the match

FC Supra made their mark on the league immediately, claiming a historic 3-2 victory in Langford against Pacific on April 11, with Alexandre Marcoux scoring at the death to seal the club's first-ever win.

A week later, Supra hosted Atlético Ottawa in their home opener at a packed CEPSUM under a brilliant atmosphere, though the crowd was silenced in the closing moments. Ottawa, despite being dominated for much of the match, found a late winner through Tyr Walker, who headed home from a set piece to secure his side's first victory of the season. Supra registered 22 shots, 10 on target, but could not find a way past Garissone Innocent, whose performance earned him the player of the week award.

The Quebec side will look to carry the momentum from that display into Friday's clash against Halifax, who are yet to taste defeat this season.

How the Halifax Wanderers come into the match

The Haligonians opened their season with a 1-0 victory away at Vancouver FC, before back-to-back draws against Inter Toronto away and Pacific at home.

Late goals have been a recurring theme, with the Wanderers snatching a late equalizer at York Lions Stadium before finding themselves on the wrong end of one against Pacific.

Vanni Sartini's side makes just their second-ever trip to Quebec, having visited the province last year for the Canadian Premier League's annual On Tour match, which was held in Quebec City.

Availability

Diyaedinne Abzi was absent from Supra's 1-0 defeat to Atlético Ottawa with an injury, and his status for the Halifax clash has yet to be confirmed.

More details to come after both head coaches' media availability.
