Mark your calendars.

The 2026 Canadian Premier League schedule has been unveiled, and with it, some interesting details on how the league’s eighth season will unfold.

The basics

The regular season will run from Saturday, April 4, to October 25, with the playoffs concluding on the weekend of November 21–22.

Forge and Atlético Ottawa will open the season at Hamilton Stadium, with Vancouver FC hosting the Halifax Wanderers later that day.

The league’s newest club, FC Supra, and Inter Toronto (formerly York United), will not feature in the opening weekend, with both sides playing their first matches on Saturday, April 11.

World Cup break

Three matches will be played on June 10 across metropolitan areas of World Cup host cities, with Forge hosting Halifax, Inter Toronto welcoming Cavalry, and Vancouver FC playing at home against local rivals Pacific.

There will be no further Canadian Premier League matches until Friday, June 26.

Supra to host at four different stadiums

The expansion side will call four stadiums home this season, playing its 14 regular-season home matches across four different venues during the 2026 campaign. The club will open with two matches against Ottawa and Halifax at the 7,000-capacity CEPSUM Stadium, while also playing one match at Stade Telus in Québec City, two at the Complexe Sportif Claude-Robillard, and the remaining fixtures at their designated home ground, Stade Boréale in Laval.

Supra’s first-ever home match will take place at CEPSUM Stadium on Sunday, April 19, against Atlético Ottawa, in what should draw a strong away following.

Pacific is off to downtown

The Tridents will play four of their 14 home matches at Royal Athletic Park in Victoria, hosting Forge twice, Vancouver FC, and Atlético Ottawa. As usual, their remaining home fixtures will be played at Starlight Stadium in Langford.

School Day Match

Forge will host its annual School Day Match on May 13 at 11:00 a.m. local time against Supra. Last year’s edition drew 17,971 fans, setting a new record for the highest-attended match in Canadian Premier League history.

The Outcome

All eight clubs will kick off simultaneously on Sunday, October 25 (4:00 p.m. ET / 1:00 p.m. PT) as the regular season concludes.
