ATCO Field will be the setting for a Saturday afternoon clash between two sides yet to taste defeat, as Cavalry FC host Inter Toronto FC.
In 26 all-time meetings, both have only drawn three times, signalling a strong likelihood that one club will see its unbeaten streak come to an end.
More recently, the clubs split their 2025 regular season series with two wins apiece, each side earning both a home and road victory. Those matches were also heated affairs, featuring 31 combined yellow cards, along with a post-match red card to Ali Musse that resulted in a three-match suspension.
In the CPL playoffs, Cavalry emerged victorious with a 4-1 win against an Inter side that was only four days removed from a weather-interrupted penalty shootout against the Wanderers.
How Cavalry come into the match
The Cavs will once again deal with difficult conditions, with possible snow and sub-zero temperatures expected throughout the match. After settling for a scoreless draw away to Forge last week, they will be aiming to return to winning ways, having started the season 2-1-0. Their five goals scored through three matches are tied for the most in the league so far.
How Inter Toronto come into the match
The Nine Stripes come into this one off a 1-0 road win over Vancouver FC, courtesy of an early Gabriel Bitar strike. Goalkeeper Diego Urtiaga was instrumental in that result, making six saves as Inter absorbed sustained pressure, with Vancouver earning 20 free kicks and 10 corners while limiting Inter to just six total shots.
Both managers have shown consistency in their selections to start the season. Mauro Eustáquio has named the same starting lineup in both matches, while Tommy Wheldon Jr. has made just one change since Cavalry’s opener against Pacific.

This section will be updated after both head coaches' media availabilities.
