Forge and Valour will host a "School Day Match"
Forge and Valour will welcome students from their area in School Day matches.
The Hammers, who previously took part in the event in 2024, will welcome students from the Hamilton area on Tuesday, May 13, at 11 AM local time as they face Atlético Ottawa.
Meanwhile, Valour will follow on Wednesday, June 4, at 11 AM local time, hosting students from the Winnipeg area for their match against Vancouver FC.
Each team will get one weekend off
With the regular season starting earlier than ever and spanning 29 weeks, each club will have one weekend off.
Cavalry will be the first team to get a break, sitting out during the second matchweek.
All four games on the last weekend will be played at the same time
Like in 2024, all four games from matchday 28 will be played simultaneously on October 18, 4 PM ET / 1 PM PT.
Last season, Pacific secured the final playoff spot after a 2-0 victory on the final day.
All home openers are in April
For the first time in the Canadian Premier League's short history, all home openers will be played in April.
Atlético Ottawa will kick off their season at home against the Halifax Wanderers on April 5, while Valour will be the last team to play their first home game, also hosting Halifax, on April 25.
