The Canadian Premier League has unveiled its home openers for the 2025 season, slated to start on April 5th with a triple-header. The full schedule is set to be released on February 12.
It will be the earliest-ever start to a campaign in the league's short history.

Atlético Ottawa vs. Halifax Wanderers FC
April 5, 2024 (2pm ET / 3pm AT)
TD Place, Ottawa
Atlético Ottawa will once again feature in the season's opening match, hosting the Halifax Wanderers at TD Place on Saturday, April 5 at 2 pm local time.
It won't be the first time these two sides face off in the first game of the season, having drawn 1-1 in April 15, 2023 in the same stadium.
Forge FC vs. Cavalry FC
April 5, 2024 (4:30pm ET / 2:30pm MT)
Hamilton Stadium, Hamilton
It wouldn’t be an opening weekend without Forge hosting Cavalry. For the third straight year, the league’s two biggest clubs will clash in the first matchweek of the Canadian Premier League season.
This time, however, the roles are reversed—Cavalry enters as the reigning champions, not Forge.
Pacific FC vs. Valour FC
April 5, 2024 (4pm PT / 6pm CT)
Starlight Stadium, Langford
Pacific once again begins its Canadian Premier League campaign at home, this time hosting Valour.
Vancouver FC vs. York United FC
April 6, 2024 (4pm PT / 7pm ET)
Willoughby Community Park, Langley
Vancouver FC hosts York United the day after the first three games of the season.
York United FC vs. Halifax Wanderers FC
April 13, 2024 (3pm ET / 4pm AT)
York Lions Stadium, Toronto
Cavalry FC vs. Vancouver FC
April 18, 2024 (5pm MT / 4pm PT)
ATCO Field, Calgary
The reigning Canadian Premier League champions make their home debut against Vancouver FC.
Halifax Wanderers FC vs. Pacific FC

Wanderers Grounds, Halifax
It's the East-West rivalry at the Wanderers Grounds, as Halifax host Pacific in the 3rd matchweek.
Valour FC vs. Halifax Wanderers FC

Finally, Valour play their first home game of the season at the end of April, where they'll face off with the Halifax Wanderers, who are involved in four home openers.
