Source: Manny Aparicio to leave PFC, has interest from 3 CPL clubs & 2 MLS clubs

We're hearing that Manny Aparicio is set to leave Pacific after 3 seasons with the 2021 CPL champs.

The 28-year-old Argentine/Canadian midfielder has interest from multiple CPL clubs. As first reported by Wanderers Notebook, one of those clubs is the Halifax Wanderers. We're also able to confirm that 2 other CPL clubs with interest in Manny are Atlético Ottawa and Cavalry FC.

Despite that, first reported by NYCFC Source, the midfielder prefers an MLS move. Like what Wanderers Notebook also reported, the Whitecaps & Toronto FC are 2 of the clubs which he has held discussions with.

While CF Montréal is a possibility, the club is stacked in midfield with the likes of Victor Wanyama, Samuel Piette, Mathieu Choinière, etc... But with reports earlier this week about Pa-Modou Kah (former Pacific head coach and CPL champion with Manny) interviewing for the head coach job, we wouldn't rule out Aparicio to the Impact.

Should a move to MLS not happen, Manny is likely to stay in the CPL.

Aparicio will be a huge get for whichever club signs him and a big addition to their midfield. He had 78 appearances with Pacific, scoring 8 goals and recording 12 assists in all competitions. He won 1 title with the Tridents: The 2021 CPL championship.

TL;DR:
- Manny Aparicio is set to depart Pacific after 3 seasons with the club
- He's prioritizing a move to MLS
- He's holding discussions with the Whitecaps and Toronto FC
- Cavalry, Halifax & Ottawa all have interest in signing him
- Should he not go to MLS, he's likely to stay in the CPL
